Dive Cuts Live: Mizzou gets a bump in the polls after beating Alabama

It seems like Tiger fans are a little subdued following the programs loss to Arkansas on Saturday, but AP voters were impressed enough with the Tigers week to give them a bump in the polls despite the road loss because we all understand at this point how difficult the SEC really is these days.

On Saturday out of 8 games only two road teams won, and both were favored: Tennessee beat Texas A&M and Florida beat LSU. Four home underdogs won, including Arkansas (Mizzou was favored by 1.5). The bigger story of the week was the Missouri-Alabama game where the Tigers sent notice to the rest of college basketball.

We’ll break down both games and look ahead this week to South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
