Appreciate the info. It helps to temper my enthusiasm for Shawn. Glad he’s here, but I can see that he has some shortcomings.
You can definitely see the limitations AND the possibilities if he’s coachable. I’d be a little surprised if he only plays 16% of minutes–maybe that’s my lack of faith in Porter, who I think you have playing well over 50% of minutes. I’m just wondering if Porter is tough enough to go toe to toe with SEC bigs. With all the paint penetration and rim attacks, I would think Philips’ minutes might be closer to high 20s or even 30%. One of the big intrigues !
