As the 2026 recruiting cycle wraps up, and recruits start repping their high school on Friday nights again, Missouri sits with 12 commits — all three-stars — and the 82nd ranked recruiting class in the country.
That being said, with a senior season still in full effect for a lot of these commits, many Mizzou commits have been making their mark in their Friday night lights appearances.
One future Tiger has been marking his mark at a powerhouse high school in St. Louis.
Keenan Harris was one of Mizzou’s first commits. He announced his decision on May 23rd through an X message.
Since committing to Mizzou, Harris has been nothing short of dominant. Helping St. Louis University High (SLUH) to a 5-0 record to start the season against some top-notch Missouri competition.
Committed to the Tigers as a linebacker, Harris causes havoc on both sides of the ball.
Playing primarily as a running back on offense, the future Tiger leads his team in touchdowns on the season with seven.
Notably, Harris scored three touchdowns against intracity rival DeSmet in a 31-14 victory. All three of his touchdowns came on the ground, with one coming in the second quarter to put the Billikens up 14, and two in the second half to seal the game. He also finished the game with 15 carries for 95 yards and five tackles on defense. Talk about a Swiss army knife.
Record Breaker
During his senior campaign, Harris has broken records at SLUH, a high school with rich history.
On Sept. 19, in a matchup against Lutheran St. Charles, Harris finished with three tackles. On his third tackle, the future Tiger made his way into the record books with the program record for career tackles (338). Harris was pulled before the end of the first quarter with SLUH in firm control of the game.
On Sept. 26, Harris surpassed Steve Schnur’s 35 year old school record with 39 varsity starts. Since Harris came into the program as a freshman, how many varsity games do you think have been played? 39.
Here’s a look at Harris’ stats since arriving at St. Louis University High School:
Tackles | Int/FR | Rushing Yards/TDs | Receiving Yards/TDs | |
2022 (10 games) | 72 tackles | 1 int, 1 FR | 0 yards, 0 TDs | 60 yards, 1 TD |
2023 (12 games) | 87 tackles | 1 int, 1 FR | 2 yards, 0 TDs | 186 yards, 2 TDs |
2024 (12 games) | 72 tackles | 3 ints, 2 FRs | 4 yards, 1 TD | 328 yards, 3 TDs |
2025 (5 games) | 22 tackles | 1 FR | 226 yards, 6 TDs | 51 yards, 1 TD |
The story continues to write itself as it seems Harris is breaking a new program record every week. This Friday, SLUH takes on Vianney on the road, and you can expect Harris to dominate on both sides of the ball.
