SEC play is fully underway and the Missouri Basketball Tigers completed a tough opening game at Auburn with a loss. They returned home to beat the LSU Tigers in a 16 point win. The opening two game split sets the Tigers in a tie for 3rd place with 6 other teams. Two teams are 2-0 (Mississippi State and Auburn) and now two teams are 0-2 (Texas and LSU). With three more games tonight the standings will shift and Mizzou will move into a tie for 2nd.
Obviously much of the above standings math is meant in jest, with just two games away you’re either 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2. But more importantly the Tigers moved inside the top 40 in the NCAA’s NET ranking, and are currently 46th in KenPom.com.
We’ll talk Tigers tonight in a live episode of Dive Cuts, season 8 with Sam Snelling and Matt Harris. Tonight at 8pm Central Time.
