Dive Cuts: Mizzou Assistant Coach Ryan Sharbaugh breaks down the Tigers roster

Welcome to another lovely episode of Dive Cuts, the ONLY podcast talking all things Mizzou Basketball.

On this episode, I bring on a very special guest from the Mizzou coaching staff in Assistant Coach Ryan Sharbaugh. Coach Sharbaugh is the defensive coordinator for the Tigers, and has been with Dennis Gates since his first roster at Cleveland State. Coach discusses the upcoming season for Missouri, focusing on team dynamics, defensive strategies, and player development. He highlights the importance of vocal leadership, the transition to a more physical and disruptive defensive style, and the impact of new recruits and returning players. The discussion also dives into the expectations for individual players and the overall philosophy of the coaching staff as they prepare for a competitive season in the SEC.

Great hearing from Coach Sharbaugh.
He reinforced much of our enthusiasm for the upcoming season. It’s fun to hear the defensive coordinator zero in on expectations for this season’s team, its individuals, and their impact on the collective. Good stuff.
