The 2026 recruiting cycle is officially underway, and Eliah Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers are navigating a dramatically different landscape than just a few years ago. With the rise of NIL opportunities, recruiting has become more competitive than ever — especially in the SEC, where programs are using every tool available to attract top-tier talent.
While Mizzou’s class has struggled in its early stages, Drinkwitz and company has made it clear they’re targeting size, athleticism, and long-term upside. This recruiting tracker will follow every key commitment update as the Tigers look to assemble a 2026 class that can make an impact in the NIL era and beyond.
Current Commitments (10):
QB Gavin Sidwar
Commitment Date: April 18th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar is Mizzou’s pick for the 2026 class. He brings solid size, calm pocket presence, and impressive downfield accuracy. While viewed as a long-term project, Sidwar adds important depth to a position that demands consistency in today’s ever-changing college football landscape.
LB Keenan Harris
Commitment Date: May 23rd, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Four-star linebacker Keenan Harris was the second addition to the class and the first instate add from Drinkwitz. Harris brings a big box presence to the team and will look to slot in at the STAR position for the Tigers. The SLUH product will often be the first player to the ball carrier even if he starts out farther away from the play than several of his teammates.
WR Jabari Brady
Commitment Date: June 7th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Four-star wide receiver Jabari Brady was the first wideout addition to the class and uses his strength and physicality to create separation. He’s not overly fast but he should fit nicely on the outside of Mizzou’s offensive scheme.
TE Isaac Jensen
Commitment Date: June 9th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star tight end Isaac Jensen was the first sign of confirmation that Drinkwitz was building a big class. Coming in at 6’6, Jensen’s got decent athleticism and size you can’t teach. The Omaha, Nebraska, product is part of Eli Drinkwitz’s long-held dream of finding the perfect tight end for his offensive scheme and only time will tell if it pans out.
RB Maxwell Warner
Commitment Date: June 23rd, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star running back Maxwell Warner, coming in as a smaller powerback, still has room to add muscle his junior season, but looks like a strong addition to Mizzou’s depth chart. It’s hard to say for sure when Maxwell Warner will play due to the recent addition of sophomore Ahmad Hardy.
OL Khalief Canty Jr.
Commitment Date: June 24th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star offensive tackle Khalief Canty Jr. was a big addition to the Tigers’ 2026 class. Coming in at 6’5, 305 lbs, the Detroit, Michigan, product is a force to be reckoned with on the offensive line. Canty is a project but Drinkwitz is happy to have him on board as the first trench unit addition.
WR Devyon Hill-Lomax
Commitment Date: June 25th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star wide receiver Devyon Hill-Lomax — a 6’5 receiver out of Edwardsville, Illinois — has shown all the signs of an X receiver; although not insane speed, his height helps him get up and catch 50/50 balls. He’ll pair nicely with Jabari Brady and whoever else may come in the Tigers’ 2026 receiving class.
OL Brandon Anderson
Commitment Date: June 29th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson does everything well at the offensive line position and is consistently great at run blocking. The 6’5, 320 lbs prospect originally committed to Tennessee but decommitted from the Volunteers program in January. This time around, he chose Mizzou over Tennessee and North Carolina.
OL Braylon Ellison
Commitment Date: July 1st, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star offensive lineman Braylon Ellison had all the signs pointing him in the direction of Mizzou. The 6-4 lineman visited Columbia on June 6th but is familiar with the school as his older brother, Tyson Ellison, was a walk-on the past two seasons with the team and his father, Atiyyah Ellison, played at Missouri in the early 2000s before being drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft. His dad is also currently on Mizzou football’s staff. Drinkwitz continues to build the trenches with this addition.
S Tony Forney
Commitment Date: July 4th, 2025
Commitment Story
Recruiting Reset
Three-star safety Tony Forney helped Mizzou to its third consecutive Independence Day pickup. The Marietta, Georgia, product showed that he can play close to the line and deep when needed. His ability to shed tackles and get to the ball was obvious during his junior season.
